Description

UPDATE 25th of Feb 2021: added here the "raw" versions with the original threads. I never pronted them but maybe someone will try or modify them for better fitting -> please read the the last chapter about the problem when printing threads This is a LED lamp which lightens the area around my telescope mount. It fits into an ocular storage hole of the tripod but is not fixed to it. So can be used to lighten other thing temporary like a star map, an ocular or whatvever. 4 x 5mm LED red (650nm) and 2 x 100Ohm resistors are needed. 2 LED´s are soldered in series with a 100Ohm resistor. Both strands are soldered in parallel. Power consumption is 10mA per strand using a 5V source. I used an USB cable and my Raspberry Pi (Astroberry) + USB3.0 hub for powering the lamp. If light is too bright, use an additional trimmer 100Ohm or 2 x 200 instead ot 100Ohm resitors for example. Unfortunately there is one problem: I did not manage to print the M32 thread on both parts correctly. This means both parts will fit only 1/2 turn and then it blocks. However it works! If someone can fix that problem please leave a comment and files. I will leave here the STL as well as the original FUSION360 files for further and better development!
