customizable smartphone mounting for anglepoise lamp
Description
I wanted to have my hands free when taking some videos of small things on my desk. So I looked around where I could safely fix my mobile phone in an adjustable manner. When my eyes fell on my anglepoise lamp I realized that is was a perfect basis for this endeavor. All I had to do, was to design some bracket that could be mounted to the lampshade. Already the first design was a full success. So I decided to post the design in a customizable fashion, since all one needs to do is to measure (in millimeters) 1. the lampshade's exact outer diameter (diam) 2. the lampshade's brim diameter (gap) 3. the mobile phone's width (width) and put that into the customizer (or the code). Optionally you can customize some more parameters to adopt the design to your needs. The design leaves some extra space for the brim. However to not break the print when mounting the clamp, make sure to put the correct measure using 10th of a mm. Its a good idea to use a rubber band to fix the phone to the bracket (see photo).
