3" Compact Floppy Disk (CF2) Drive Caddy
Description
Simple 3" Floppy Disk Drive Caddy. Please note this is for the 3" drive widely used in early Amstrad built machines (CPC, PCW, Spectrum +3) not 3.5" drives. I've replaced a few of my 3" drives with Goteks and wanted to use them with a Greasweazle USB interface to archive my disks (https://github.com/keirf/Greaseweazle). Instead of having the bare drive I designed this simple sleeve to help protect the drive and minimise dust etc... 4 screw holes in the side to secure, hole at the back for the connectors & inserts on the bottom for some rubber feet. Could be used as an external drive with the right cables (and power). *Added 5mm to the height as first upload was too short
