KTM 790 Adventure Windshield doohickey
Description
This will change the angle of the stock windscreen to approximately 60 degrees. This gets all of the turbulent wind off of your helmet and reduces the buffeting to almost nothing. This along with adding the wind deflectors I designed thing:4779444, and removing the bottom wind deflectors below the headlight have made a huge difference. The windscreen is away from your face and it doesn't seem to wiggle as much. It also gives more room to mount a GPS above your speedometer. I printed this in ABS, and it has held up for 8 months now. I've taken it off road on single track trails, New Mexico BDR, Ozark mountains. It's handled speeds well over 100. Requires: 1x m5x20 hex bolt 1x m5x35 hex bolt 1x m5x45 hex bolt 1x m5 nut 2 or 3 m5 flat washers (enough so that the single wind screen bold (m5x20) does go past the nut Use with thing:4779444 for best wind protection and reduced buffetting
