Mixing Spoon

Description

Make a Mixing Spoon, as is found in many kitchen drawers. You may use the model for applications as diverse as a movie props, dolls house, wargaming or even in your kitchen. Print the Mixing Spoon with 10% to 25% infill and supports. Paint in your desired colour scheme. Use wet-blending and/or dry-brushing to simulate the wood grain. If required, apply a clear coat to seal the paint. If printing the Mixing Spoon for use in your kitchen, print with up to 50% infill and supports. Apply a clear sealing coat. Make sure that all materials are food-safe by referring to their respective material safety data sheets. To print the Spoon using a smaller format filament printer (Dreamer, Inventor, etc.): (1) Rotate the model 30 degrees Z and scale to 75%. (2) In your slicer split the model, print the pieces, drill holes for wood/aluminium/steel connecting pins, and finally glue the pieces together. The model was modelled in ViaCAD from a real mixing spoon.
