Ratchet-Mechanism for Window handle, Window-Brand: Siegenia

Description

Repair-Part for Siegenia window-handle with ratchet function. Notes: - Printed and optimized with PETG (Brand: SUNLU), Temperature: 230° C, Layer-Height: 0.15 mm - When breaking off the support-material, make sure to remove the material from under the plastic-springs. Using pliers to actuate the plastic-springs for the first time is recommended. - The part has slightly bigger outer dimensions than the original, so that the frame for the shield-plate is thicker and more robust for printing. Repair-Guidance: For the repair of the handle the old part has to be removed by gently hammering the fixation in the ratchet-hull inwards with a drift-punch. Small parts will fall off in the process, but be sure to only remove as much material as necessary to pull the assembly apart (A small puller is recommended). When assembling the handle with the newly printed part, using a bit of Loctite (Ideally Loctite 648 or similar) on the handle-shaft is recommended, so that the torque from the handle can be transmitted without fail. Gently hammer the remaining material of the handle into the grooves of the ratchet-hull with a drift-punch. Look out for the orientation of the ratchet-mechanism in regards to the handle in the process, as these parts have to be aligned together.
