Modular Storage System for USB / SD Cards / Micro SD
Description
This modular storage system was designed to make storing USB devices and SD cards easier. If you're anything like me you have a ton of these lying around in a drawer or box somewhere. This system will help you get them organized and keep them close at hand. Print these in any combination / quantity you need. They snap together using the connectors and receivers on the sides. Each piece is modular; meaning that they connect together to form whatever storage arrangement you prefer. There are tons of combinations using the included pieces, and if you are capable of editing STL files you can easily create your own configurations as well. Besides the pieces themselves fitting together, there are also different configurations for what a piece can hold. The default piece is configured as follows: -6x USB slots -2x full size SD card slots -4x micro SD card slots -Receiver on one end and connector on the other There are also pieces included with the following configurations: 6x USB slots 4x full-size SD card slots and 6x USB slots 8x micro SD card slots Additionally, the base config also comes in the following versions for extra connection options: -Connectors on both sides -Receivers on both sides And finally, there is also an included 4-way receiver which can be used to connect pieces into corner or intersection configurations. This piece also has a storage area built-in for other misc. items. If you wish to print a single piece, there is also an option to print the base config without the modular functionality. Please see the pictures for reference - there are a lot of options for how you can set these up. These have been tested extensively and are in use; each piece takes between 45min and 1 1/2 hours to print with ABS. Should work just fine with PLA / whatever material, provided you know your settings.
