DC/DC Buck Converter Case (MP1584EN) - Mountable
Description
I had a project where I needed to mount an MP1584EN DC/DC Buck converter and spotted the design by teknogeek1300 but required a few tweaks for my application. I have re-designed this from scratch in Fusion 360 to use M3 threaded heat inserts and M3 hardware. There are M3 countersunk holes for mounting this case to wherever you please. MP1584EN Converters are: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07DJ5HZ7G M3 Heat Inserts used are: https://www.amazon.co.uk/sourcing-map-Knurled-Threaded-Embedment/dp/B07LBRMQ5T Other hardware used: 2x M3x8mm Countersunk head Bolts (for Top Cover) 4x M3x8mm Cap head bolts (for Cable Clamps) Files should be orientated correctly for printing, no supports are required. 1x Main Body 1x Top Cover 2x Clamps All can be placed on the bed of most printers and printed in one go, I printed them at 100% infill just for strength but it's not required and you could probably use with 60%+ Infill.
