Description
The following contraption is a famous novelty-print popular among many makers, a mechanism which no matter the direction of rotation of the shaft will always rotate in a single direction. The model is based off of the '507 Movements' book (No. 49) with some updated physical and mechanical features. - The Ratcheting Mechanism is totally hidden until disassembled. - The Ratcheting Mechanism is replaced with a ratchet wheel, which can be replaced easily if worn out. - Bevel Gears are made parametrically, formulas were referred from the 'Machinery's Handbook'. - The Mechanism can be scaled up or down.
