Scope mount 1" dummy for testing build height

Trying to google and measure what build height your next pair of scope rings need to be to fit over your barrel? Print these, mount with rubber bands, and measure the gap instead! These dummy 'rings' are for 1" tube scopes and have a build height of 15mm. I have used them on picatinny rails, but they <I>might</i> work on Weaver rail as well. 1) Mount your scope in the dummy rings. 2) Measure the distance between scope bottom and barrel top. 3) Subtract that distance from 15mm. --> The result is your minimum needed build height. <i>Remember to add some if you intend to use external (normal) scope caps!</> Also, feel free to remix and submit a 30mm version. I don't intend to get anything more tacticool than 1" myself ;)
