Corner LED lamp
Description
Easy print, great looking, and compact corner LED lamp. See it in action: https://gofile.io/d/9rG8Fp # What you need to print * 12x `tube` (no support, vertically) * 1x `base` (*with* supports) * 3x `top_cap` (no support, vertically) * 1x `top_support_32mm` or `top_support_110mm.stl` depending how far you want the lamp away from the wall (no support) # Print tips Make sure you have enough infill and at least 3 layers for the bottom/top and walls. Overall, the construction is a bit on a wiggly side: that's why we need the *top_support*. I suggest `top_support_110mm.stl`. You can mount the top support using a small piece of double-sided tape. You can also fix `base` using double-sided tape if you have hardwood floors. # Hardware * WS2812B LED strip - I'm using a 16.4FT / 5M - 300 LED density -- It's pretty cheap and gives enough of light to decorate your walls (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07WD6L31K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) * a small ESP8266 dev board -- I'm using `IZOKEE D1 Mini` - it's 100% Compatible with WeMos D1 Mini (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B076F53B6S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) * A 5V/5A (for 100 LEDs) power supply (100 of WS2812B at 100% brightness is approximately 5A; choose your power supply depending on your LED strip) with an input jack # Software I'm using slightly modified software from NimmLor. You can find my version at https://sr.ht/~yeoldeporkpie/corner-led/ and the original one at https://github.com/NimmLor/esp8266-fastled-iot-webserver # Instructions Available at https://github.com/NimmLor/esp8266-fastled-iot-webserver/blob/master/Software_Installation.md
