Ender 3 Ender 2 CR10 Extruder TPU with Bowden lock
Description
Super over engineered extruder plate for printing TPU on <b>Bowden (stock 2/4 mm ID/OD tube) Ender 3/3 Pro/ CR10/S/Ender 2/Ender 5 </b>hotend. Extruder plate was merged with zip tie PTFE tube clamp to extra secure tube from falling out of coupler. I succesfully printed TPU Shore 40A on this setup. There will be no "TOASTT" lettering on top - this is just on my piece. PTFE tube passes thru PC4-M10 connector and thru extruder plate to almost touch extruder gear (with very little clearance between gear and tube) to prevent TPU or other flexible material from going sideways and ruining your print. <b>BOM:</b> 2x M3x45 countersunk screw, either Phillips or Allen socket 2x M3x25 button head screw, either Phillips or Allen socket 2x M3 standard nut 1x PC4-M10 connector (just like the one that screws into hotend radiator) 3x zip tie 2-3 mm width 1x countersunk M3 screw from stock extruder (under extruder arm) 1x stock screw that holds extruder arm 1x stock or aluminium extruder arm with stock spring 1x piece of PTFE 2/4 mm (ID/OD) tube, preferably 40 cm long 4 and 3 mm drill bits to correct any print imperfections (if you will face them) and maybe flat file. Remember to cut tip of PTFE tube to V-shape (as shown on last 2 photos) and first you need to push PTFE tube thru 1 part of extruder plate (1.stl) and then push it thru coupler untill it almost touches extruder gear. Then use 2 45 mm screws to firmly screw 1 part to part 2. After this place PLA or other common filament into tube and gently tie zip ties on tube, but remember to not overtighten as it will create extra friction inside the tube. Use one zip tie to secure coupler lock or use lock that was equipped with printer. <b>If you appreciate my work - please consider sending me tip.
