Graphic assembly of signs for a library
Description
Graphic assembly of signs First, I did some research on typography and chose one that was appropriate for the project. I chose the Andale Mono because of its reminiscences of block letters and because they are easy to read. I then worked on the idea in Inkscape, writing the texts and then turning them into objects. I also did research on the internet about the pictograms I considered most appropriate. I found them on Shutterstock, a platform where they offer some pictograms for free. Once uploaded them to Inkscape, I decided not to alter its perimeters. I put all the shapes on an A2 format, so I can make the appropriate scale changes afterwards if necessary. Finally, I exported the files in SVG, so that the cutting machine can read them and be able to cut out the shapes on the vinyl material. And here is the designed assembly.
