Scriber

Scriber

Description

The core of the scriber is a broken drill bit that I bought on AliExpress. Such bit positioned as a tool for cleaning nozzles... that's not true, actually :) Any way, I broke one 0.1mm ("piece of cake") and another 0.4mm. Now they serves to another purpose. #### Printing notes You will need a well calibrated flow for the filament which you want to use. There 0.15mm tolerance in the models. Print handle as positioned (on the side) with supports under it. It will gave you the best result. Add supports in the square windows. Don't add supports in the center hole because it will hard to remove them properly. Print the small part with supports, positioned also on the side. The most difficult for printing is a cap. I tried to made it without a raft - failed. But with the raft I always break one wall of the cap when removing the raft. Anyway, this is an optional part of the tool. It is up to your decision. #### Assimbling notes The drill bit has a plastic ring. This ring should be moved to the proper position for set in the scriber handle. It is not too hard, use your imagination. Also, for the best clutching maybe you'll need to clear the hooks on the small part and the corresponding windows in the handle. This can be tricky. But I was able to do it, so I believe you can, too. #### Sources [Source](https://cad.onshape.com/documents/90594b89194b3b70262df369/w/8995f1aeca2f570d7af10073/e/b134d44b79d1fcdd8180c929) I used Onshape. There are existing a few configuration options. But you should be familiar with Onshape if you want to use these configs.
