Ender 3 Direct Drive Extruder Bracket for red alloy geared extruder
Description
This bracket is for the Creality style of red aluminum GEARED extruder. It mounts to the factory carriage via the 2 upper wheel bolts, eliminating the metal spacers. There's only 15mm of exposed tube between the extruder and hot-end fittings. The extruder I used was the "BZ 3D Dual Gear Extruder" from Amazon. I used the standard screws for the extruder and wheels/bracket. Please check in Cura that "Union Overlapping Volumes" is checked in the Mesh Fixes section. If unchecked Cura will create a small gap between volumes.
