Fully Customizable Boat Rail Base

Today we bring you a fully customizable boat rail fitting that can also be used for shower rails, clothes rails, etc. This was created by request for one of our followers and is currently untested. **Update**: This design can now also be used for rectangular tubes (as of version 1.2). If you are looking for more, check out our premium projects: https://codeandmake.com/premium OpenSCAD Customizer Options --------------------------- This design has the following Customizer options: ### Material * `Material_Thickness` - Thickness of the material ### Tube * `Tube_Profile` - The shape of the tube * `Round_Tube_Inside_Diameter` - The inside diameter of the round tube * `Rectangular_Tube_Inside_Width` - The inside width (Y axis) of the rectangular tube * `Rectangular_Tube_Inside_Height` - The inside height (X axis) of the rectangular tube * `Min_Tube_Length` - The length of the tube on the shortest side * `Tube_Angle` - The angle to tilt the tube * `Tube_Bevel_Percentage` - The amount to bevel the end of the tube (as a percentage) * `Grub_Screw_Hole_Diameter` - Grub screw hole diameter. Not threaded. Will require manual tapping. ### Base * `Base_Type` - The type of base (round or rectangular) * `Screw_Hole_Diameter` - The diameter of the screw hole * `Screw_Head_Diameter` - The diameter of the screw head * `Screw_Head_Countersink_Angle` - Screw countersink angle (82 and 90 are common) * `Screw_Padding` - The minimum amount of padding around each screw * `Base_Bevel_Percentage` - The amount to bevel the edge of the base (as a percentage) Material -------- We recommend printing this in a durable filament, such as ABS, nylon or even metal!
