Description
_This is a repack, intended to significantly reduce prep & print time by laying out the components of the model in an efficient manner._ The new layout for printing the leg sections allows a full set to be printed in a single session on even a very modestly sized print plate. Should you wish to make the legs longer by adding even more sections, I have also included a 'top-up' STL file of a row of 10 extras. Personally, I found 6 + 1 end-piece to be just right. Previously published iterations of this model suggest a lower quality print, but my test results reveal that the mechanical nature of the joints is vastly improved by upping the quality to 0.12 layer height with 4 shell layers and 20% infill to preserve structural strength. Supports will be required for the body, but NOT for the leg sections, as they are already included (minor cleaning will be required) A hot print plate is a serious plus. 220c/67c, 40mm/70mm, 0.12mm
