St Edwards' Crown - 21cm Diameter
Description
This is my new Printable crown, CADed after I realised Mk 1 didn't fit my head. It features over 600 individually placed diamonds and over 40 gems. It currently weighs ~800g. It has a 21cm internal diameter and is ~40cm tall when assembled. For ease of printing there are 2 files, which should fit on any printer. At my settings on my Anet A8, both pieces combined took ~17hrs. The two pieces form a quarter that can be reprinted 4 times for form a full crown. In addition to what's below, I used some 15mm foam I had to pad the headband. The main structure is held together with hot glue. Note I had to repaint the gold balls to match the crown.
