Evolve Bamboo GT external battery!
Description
Modification for Evolve Bamboo GT or GTX. This project allows you to use two seperate batteries with your board with hot swap option. First you have to print enclosure spacer ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3230189 ) to mount this socket. What you need: 2 x XT60 connectors - https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9z4vm2 1 x T-Plug male - https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_ATwuaA 1 x T-Plug female - https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_ATwuaA ~40cm BLACK 14AWG silicone wire - https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9xGe1y ~40cm RED 14AWG silicone wire - https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9xGe1y 2 x M3x5 screws 2 x M3x7 screws 1 x M3x14 screw 5 x M3 nuts How to put all together. Use one male plug as jumper, just solder both pins together, use a lot of solder! Then glue in that jumper into printed key. Next solder one xt60 male with black and red wire (beware of polarity!), and female wire with two red cables (it’s only to close internal battery circut, that’s why both cables are red). Pull cables through wholes in bottom plates and solder them as on attached images. In the end screw everything together and that’s it!
