Artillery Sidewinder x1 - Gantry Support
Description
Initially I planed to add another support to the front of the printer. I will probably not continue to do so as the printer is now stiff enough with only the support to the back. So I guess the top attachment points can be used to install a camera or some LEDs. DISCLAIMER: in order to attach the lower attachment points, you have to drill some holes into the enclosure. You do this on your own risk! Any warranty will probably be voided by this. Dont forget to unplug the AC-cable before doing so!!! The benefit of this is, that you can open the bottom enclosure of the printer as easily as before. Additional hardware : (no guarantee of correctness or completeness) 2x 10mm aluminium tubes (or something of similar diameter) 8x m5x35mm bolts 4x m5 nuts 26x m3x20mm bolts 2x m3x30mm bolts 4x m3x12mm bolts 8x m3x8mm bolts 28x m3 nuts 12x M3 drop in t-nuts for 6mm slot 4x m4x10mm bolts 4x M4 drop in t-nuts for 6mm slot some washers
