home gym dumbbell stopper

Hello, I had this problem: my dumbbell used to roll-around inconveniently on the floor. Printed this "stopper" to eliminate the issue. Works! Fast print with lower resolution and it is good. Low resolution gave a texture pattern to the surface, see pics. Alternatively print higher resolution to get smooth surface. I used PrimaSELECT PLA, silver color, for printing. The brochyre says it is stronger than regular PLA. So far my gym stopper has not broken, even though I used only 10% infill. For bigger weights, scale up and use higher infill %. The STL-files include 11 cm (4.3") and 15 cm (5.9") dumbbell_stopper.
