Customizable box that is correct size for CD DVD BluRay
Description
Box for CD, DVD, and BluRay collections. I took my Compact Disk collection and threw away the cases. It went from 3 overflowing floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, to a shelf in one of said bookshelf. I designed 3D printed boxes to hold all the naked disks. There are some customisable options to the box that might be of use if you want to use it for other things. The height of the box will change depending on how many disks you select. If you want, for example, to keep a boxed set of TV series separate from the other disks you can specify a box to hold that series. STL files for preset 50 and 100 disk boxes along with a sliding lid are included. The Thingiverse Customizer allows you to select between smooth sides, preset texts, or custom text, on the front and/or back sides (The stretch/length of the text has to be manually adjusted). You can also select a preset for a business card holder, and adjust for the size of your business card then slide in a business card of your choice. I'm testing the Thingiverse Customizer. Great thanks to klkl whose code for customisable things pointed me in the right direction to fix my issues when the customisers instructions were hiding the pure path. I included the OpenSCAD file. Mainly for the Thingiverse Customiser, but if you desire you can change the design as you wish in OpenSCAD. There are optional bottom extension that will slot onto the box beneath. This makes the boxes more stable if you stack them up. There is option for side pattern to reduce filament usage.
