Ender 3 v2 - MOBO fan cover upgrade - 80x25 fan for motherboard + Pi 3/4+ LM2596 Buck converters X2
Description
Remixed this as I am going to only be using the LM2596 Buck converters. Moved them around a little bit to allow for more room for the power wires. Here is the Original Print - Lots of great info in his Summary https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4745387 Updates: 4.27.2021 - Installed the PI 4 2gb and it work well. I think the screw holes for the pi need to be smaller You can only use 2.5mm screws with the board and the mounts printed are larger. - I added a power switch to the bottom. I had to drill a hole. USB power Switch from pishop.us - Ordered my pi from pishop.us and it was the cheapest I could find. - Added these zip tie mounts to the front to clean it up as you can see in the the photo with the USB in the front (printed at 60% size to fit small zip ties) --> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1800896 Updates: 4.21.2021 - Installed and everything fit great - Fan fitment was good - Buck converter mount was ok - I used a little spot of hot glue on the post before installing the converter on the cover - Soldered JST connectors to I could remove or change out parts quickly - Did not install the PI yet. Updates: 4.7.2021 - Printed and test fit to printer - Fits well - Parts will be here in the next few days and will update photos with install - PI will be a couple weeks out Used the Buck converter file from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1160062/ I am using 3 of these risers as well -> - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4665097 - Printed the 35mm -> Added (Feet_Riser_35_Lightweight_B.STL) a different take on the Lightweight version, easier to print, in 35 mm. Needed one of these offset risers as well-> - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4775890 - If you plan on printing a PSU cover, go ahead and print 2 of these
