MMU Buffer Mod for Prusa MMU Bearings
Description
These are companion files to the original buffer design so that the bearings that come with the MMU package can be used. If you, like me, have an abundance of the extra bearings from the original MMU spool tray strategy because you are using another spool holder option, then this “remix” allows those bearings to be used in the filament buffer instead. The original parts list required new, larger diameter, bearings. However, now you can use a few of the ones that have been rolling around your drawers. Revised Parts List(per 1 Buffer): 5 Printed Parts (OG Base, OG Wheel, Axle a, Axle b, Bearing Spacer) 2 x PC4-M10 PTFE Tube Push Connect Fittings 4mm OD PTFE Tube (2.5-3 ID Recommended) 1 x M3x30 Bolt 1 x M3 Nut 2 x Zipties 4 x #6x1in (.75in minimum) wood screws (corresponding dry wall anchors recommended as well) 1 x 22mm OD Bearing from the Prusa MMU Package
