Rebate Plane to Plow Plane Balde Adapter - 1/4"
Description
My rebate plane (unknown make/model) is great, but it doesn't have a blade to cut dados. Instead of buying or making a plow plane, I bought a blade and made an adapter. The cap iron couldn't hold the blade without canting, which let the blade slip. So I printed an adapter to allow the cap to hold the blade. Since this works and cuts dados, the next step (over the next few weeks) is to figure out how to add a thumb-screw depth adjuster. I just need to find the right hardware. Print on a high infill setting since the set-screw on the cap iron will apply significant pressure on the print.
