Traxxas Maxx wheelie bar wheels
Description
This is a replacement for the stock wheelie bar wheels on the Traxxas Maxx. Even though I beat up my Traxxas Maxx pretty good I still wanted to dress it up a bit. All parts are printed in PETG, except for the wheel itself, which is TPU. The only part that needs support is the axle. Use Print Bed only support. Two spacers and two rim halves are needed per wheel. Press fit the spacers into each rim half and after applying a thin bead of medium or thick CA glue to the outer edges of the rim halves, install the axle to align the two halves. Keep glue away from the part of the rim that's near the axle.The axle and spacers should not be glued in. Depending on the accuracy of the printer, some sanding may be needed to allow the wheels to turn freely. Enjoy.
