Demonstration of Radians
Description
One radian is the angle covered by one radius of arc length. This is a little hands-on demonstrator or manipulative to demonstrate that definition of radian measure. Start the wheel on the track with the marked radius vertical, and observe how the marked distances on the track (multiples of the radius) match the marked angles on the wheel, up to 2 x pi x radius, thus demonstrating the definition of radian measure.
