Tevo Little Monster Extruder Belt Clip
Description
This is a small and simple, yet absolutely essential part that Tevo "forgot" to supply with the Little Monster (may be usable with other printers as well). According to the printer's assembly manual, the geared belts that hold the flying extruder are to be fixed using cable ties. Ehm... cable ties?? What a nonsense. How many cable ties is one supposed to consume until a well-balanced configuration for the belts is found? How will you ever equalize the three belts' tensions if you have to irrevocably fix each belt before you take care of the next one? These tiny clips offer a far more convenient and precise way to coordinate the belts' tensions: Just slide them on the belts, make as many corrections as you ever want (obviously, you can remove and re-apply the clips), and finally fix the clips with screws and nuts after you are satisfied with the result. Print the clips (3 pieces needed) using a not-too-stiff/brittle material. I recommend PETG, ABS, or PC; PLA is fine unless you operate the printer in a heated enclosure. Additional hardware needed are three M3 screws, countersunk head, 8 to 10 mm long, as well as three M3 nuts. If you own a Little Monster you may want to keep an eye on my designs as I'm currently uploading parts for that printer successively.
