Description
If making just one layer than the top stl files and a middle file are all that is needed. The middle tray is the same file on all layers required. If making multiple layers then the bottom stl's are used for each layer and topped off with the top stl's. The reason for this is that the bottom stl files have arcs on the front and back tray to help hold the one above in place. have attached photo where this can be seen. In the bottom of all front and back trays is an arc slit to accommodate the tray arc below The trays have 8mm round extrusions on the side and perhaps as I used no supports 8.2mm holes in the adjoining tray, to help glue and keep the trays lined up. I found I still needed a very small and gentle amount of trimming and sanding to get then clipping together well. Super glue used to bond sets of trays together. Also in some cases I needed to gently use a craft blade inside the slit and or on the arc. Nozzle 215c, Bed 60c, I used prusasclicer on a 0.2mm speed print with 20% in fill. Sunlu Marble filament.
