Cubistand modular different sizes
Description
Hi! This is a remix of the original Cubistand https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1294085 I made different sizes of the tool/pencil/brush holder (called Cubistand) with different leg sizes and hights to fit your needs. This version just have 3 parts each to be functional (instead of four) but I would recommend you to at least 3d-print 2 legs for a tight and steady stand. The legs fit tighter than the original one and is hollow so you can use it and put things in it too. It is especially convenient for the bigger versions because of more usable space. The legs get rather thick when the size increase. The legs were in the original also too loose for when snapping them together (I had to glue them to the bottom and top plate) and I found the extra "lid" part to be redundant. I also skipped the logo size I found it unnecessary. The walls are on my version also thicker: 2 mm instead of 1 mm to be steadier and to look better. This is a description on the different versions: Cubistand Nr. 1 Number of squares: 7x7 = 49 total Square side: 10 mm (the "holes"/square length and width) Leg size: ranging from 60-110mm hight (print the hight you want) If you want it to be really steady print 4 legs but you can also use 1 but it might be a bit wobbly. Cubistand Nr. 2 Number of squares: 5x5 = 25 total Square side: 15 mm Leg size: ranging from 60-120 mm high Cubistand Nr. 3 Number of squares: 7x7 = 49 total Square side: 15 mm Leg size: ranging from 60-120 mm high Cubistand Nr. 4 Number of squares: x = total Square side: mm Leg size: ranging from mm high Cubistand Nr. 5 Number of squares: 4x4 = 16 total Square side: 20 mm Leg size: ranging from 60-120 mm high Cubistand Nr. 6 Number of squares: 4 x 4 = total Square side: 28 mm Leg size: ranging from 60-120 mm high. The name of the files: I named the different versions the following way: Nr: the number of the cubistand then the number of square eg. 4x4. Bottom = bottom plate Top = top plate XXmm square side = e.g 28 mm square side means it the version with 28 mm squares sides lenght and width total of 4 sides "the holes". I hope you get it. If you want to design your own Cubistand I can help you if you use Fusion 360. Please let me know in the comments below and I will try and give you descriptions on how to do it. Kind regards,
