Tamiya DT-03 caster blocks - front wheel hex mod
Description
These are caster blocks for the Tamiya DT-03 hex wheel mod. They are based on the Traxxas TRX3632 caster blocks but modified to fit the different geometry of the front suspension of the DT-03. To do the whole mod, you do need to purchase the following Traxxas spare parts: TRX3736 TRX3637 TRX3654 (can be printed if you have some spare pins) In addition you also require to purchase the Tamiya Full Turnbuckle Set TA-54572. The steering link won't fit anymore. An easy solution is to use some M3 rods. They do fit and seem to move freely but I don't know if they are as tough as the original Traxxas parts. Therefore I do recommend to use some tough material like nylon or polycarbonate. But maybe PLA or PETG will do just fine. For easy modification of the models I attached the STEP files.
