Modular ENDER 3 V2 MAINBOARD 80X80X25 NO SUPPORTS (3 PIECES)

Description

=================================================== **Update 23-09-2021** ---------------------------- I've redrawn this cover because all of the changes had allowed defects to creep into the final model. **Ver2 changes:** --------------------- I no longer recommend wiring the mainboard's fan with the PSU fan. It works, but the PSU fan fires a lot less frequently, so you may end up with insufficient cooling that way. Instead, I've added a small buck-converter (as CyberwareDK originally did) to the design. However, in order to print without supports, the holding cage for both the buck-converter and the fan are printed separately. Print the three Ver2 files for a complete set. The buck-converter I use is like this one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076H3XHXP), but unfortunately I don't think they sell it individually. =================================================== A quick and dirty remix of CyberwareDK's Ender 3v2 mainboard cover. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4612023 using the grill from the original design by TerraVestra (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4548187). Things I changed: * Added a grill to the fan enclosure * Split the fan enclosure from the mainboard cover * Removed the buck-converter section Why: * To keep things off the fan blades * To print without supports. - You can leave it clipped-in or cement it down with your preferred adhesive * I wired my fan directly to the same header as the PSU fan using a cable splitter, but it can be done by simple splicing. - Both fans run off the same header -
