Nail driver guide

Nail driver guide

Description

This is a little helper I designed when building a kind of sewing frame. I needed to drive hundreds of nails as perpendicular as possible, leaving always the same length out, all by hand. The part is 32 mm tall, easily customizable also from the slicer. It takes a wide range of nail sizes, speeding up work a lot while improving precision and perpendicularity. Just hold the nail in the V-slot with one or two fingers, put it on the wooden surface, hammer down until nail head touches the top of the driver (obviously you can also remove the driver and proceed to insert the nail further in the piece, if you need). Print in whatever rigid material you want, no supports, low infill, as you should not whack directly on it.
