Kendon Trailer Accessories - M10+M8 knobs for ramps and endcaps

Description

Alternative and improved knobs to store ramps on a Kendon ride up trailer ( [GO! series ride up](https://www.kendonusa.com/collections/go-series-motorcycle-trailers/products/go-series-single-rail-ride-up-folding-motorcycle-trailer) ) and endcap for the round tube holding the tire STL and F3D files are included to help remixing and mods. # Round endcap This is a replacement for the plastic endcaps on the round tube holding the central rail system for the tire. - print 2 endcaps - remove existing endcap (a flat screwdriver helps) - gently push the new endcap in place. A rubber mullet is recommended # Central ramp wingnuts replacements The back ramp is held by [2x wingnuts size M10](https://www.kendonusa.com/collections/loading-ramps/products/kendon-replacement-standard-ramp-wingnut-assembly-2003-up), here replaced by 2 knobs with an inserted M10 nut. I recommend using a stainless steel nut. There is a hole to add a security cable with a clip in this way the knob, even when very loose, cannot become undone when riding for a long time. ## Items needed beyond printing For each knob (2x) - one M10 stainless steel nuts - optional: one short cable that can be closed as a loop (rubber is not ideal, it should not easily extend) - optional: one clip to secure the cable to the ramp ## Steps - Print 2 M10 knobs - hammer the M10 nut in the middle - optional: add a short wire and a clip to block the knob rotation ability # Side ramps "T bolt" replacements The 2 side ramps are held by [T-shaped bolt size M8](https://www.kendonusa.com/collections/loading-ramps/t-bolts), here replaced by 2 knobs with a threaded nut in the middle. I recommend a stainless steel nut. As for the M10 version, there is a hole to add a security cable with a clip in this way the knob, even when very loose, cannot become undone when riding for a long time ## Items needed For each knob - one M8 by 30 mm stainless steel bolt - optional: one short cable that can be closed as a loop (rubber is not ideal, it should not easily extend) - optional: one clip to secure the cable to the ramp ## Steps - print 4 M8 knobs - print 4 M8 knob caps - hammer one M8 bolt in each knob - hammer one cap in each knob over the bolt (the smoothed out part goes on the inside to help insertion) - optional: add a short wire and a clip to block the knob rotation ability
