SA RX-7 Console Switch Blank (with hole for aftermarket switch)
Description
This is a rendition of the original SA switch blank (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4817407) but with a 1/2" (12.7mm) hole in it. This should fit most standard toggle switches and other aftermarket panel mount switches. And as is true from the original… This switch blank is designed to cover unused switch mounting holes on the center console of 1979-1980 Mazda RX-7's. These switch blanks should fit snugly in the lower SA center console switch mounting holes (ex. the power antenna, headlight switch...). The outer dimensions and profile are identical to the factory switches so it will match nicely among them. The only difference is the omission of the raised perimeter, which was left off to allow them to be printed flat on the build surface and not require supports. These switch blanks (and more parts) will be available for purchase on eBay in the near future, although until I get that up and running feel free to print your own. Note that PLA is not suitable in this application. Other materials such as PETG and ABS/ASA are much better options if you so choose to print this yourself.
