CR-10 / Ender-3 minimalistic direct BMG adapter for E3D V6 and single 5015 blower
Description
This is a single piece adapter to upgrade your Creality CR-10 or Ender-3 printing head to direct extruder. You will need: 1) 1x BMG extruder 2) 1x Short (23mm) extruder motor (overwize motor will hit X-axis casing) 3) 1x V6 hotend with 30mm axial cooler 4) 1x 5015 turbine blower 5) 2x countersunk M3x10 (or 12) screws (they goes in two holes highlighted by red arrows) Blower can be fixed by itself. Screw is not necessary. Printing: 1) Orientation is as shown 2) Supports are not needed 3) Shell walls 1.2 mm or more (to make the print harder), top/bottom 3-4 layers 4) Infill 20-25% 5) High temperature materil is strongly recommended (ABS or PETG). PLA will melt near hot end. Installation: 1) Disassemble the head to bare cariage. 2) Attach the adapter plate by two M3x10(12) screws (as the red arrows shows) 3) Assemble BMG with V6 together (I assume that the throat, heatblock, nozzle, heating cartridge and temperature sensor are on V6 already) 4) Attach 30mm fan to V6 heatsink 5) Attach 23mm motor and BMG extruder to the adapter plate (motor connector can be on the top side) with 3 screws (should be included with BMG) 6) Snap the blower 7) Do the wiring X-axis don't need any adjusting. Y-axis may need its limit switch to be moved 1 cm closer 8) Calibrate the table
