Bosch Mitre Saw Vacuum Adapter
Description
Recently purchased a Bosch GCM12SD Mitre Saw. one of the first things I noticed was the dust collector had a unique attachment to the saw. Since I wanted to use my Shop Vac to vacuum the sawdust, I decided to design an adapter that would connect to the dust collector port, on the saw, and allow the use of a 2-1/2inch vacuum hose. Using the dust collector bag attachment as a guide, I designed the adapter hose to dust port adapter and the locking ring that allow secure attachment to the saw, as well as quick disconnect. The locking ring clips into the channel, in the adapter. From what I can tell, this will also work with other Bosch tools and can be modified to use other vacuum hose sizes.
