AXN Battery box
Description
This is a Battery Box for the AXN Floater Jet from Hobby King. This fits the newest Model and may fit the older one as well. This was designed to give a good solid battery mount for the AXN. That has been a problem in these models. The rectangular holes are for the Battery strap. This also stops the cockpit of the AXN from collapsing back on modest impacts, already proven this in the Maiden flight. This was hot glued into place after carving out the foam to fit it in. The tabs were hot glued down and then a bead was ran across the front of the body and down the sides, 1/2" above the box. This is the second version from what I learned on the first model. The original was a bit long, a bit narrow and a bit short on height. It had no cutouts for cooling. The original pushed against the top of the body and caused it to split on impact, also the battery pushed against the top of the body. This was corrected in the newer version.
