Baofeng UV-5R Charger Mount for Car
Description
I got tired of setting my radio at an angle in the cupholder, degrading the signal quality, so decided this was a good solution. I have printed it and verified that it fits the UV-5R charger, and the plan is to stick it to the right side of the driver's seat in front of my knee. It will be mounted with 3M Automotive Mounting Tape. I will plug the charger into a 400w inverter that's already in my car as I find it convenient being able to charge my dead laptop on the way to class every day using the inverter. I may need to design a support for it, as I don't know how well the 3M tape is going to hold it, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. I will try mounting it on 4/22/21 to see how it goes. Until then, this thing is still marked as a work in progress.
