Description

The Clem'Hand Is Our First Shot At Creating A Low Cost, Diy Prosthetic Hand. It Uses Body Power To Activate The Grasp. All The Parts Are Either 3D Printed Or Available In Your Local Hardware Store. The Final End Of This Hand Is To Give You A Prosthesis That Can Easily Replace The Conventional Ones. It Is Fairly Easy To Make And Available To Anyone. It Also Includes A Blocking Mechanism To Hold Objects Without Maintaining The Grasp With Your Shoulder. Be Careful Though, The System Is Functional But Does Not Quite Fit With Every Objects. The Design Is Entirely Based On A 3D Scan Of A Real Hand, Hence The Good-Looking Global Shape Of The Hand. You Can Also Rotate The Thumb Between 2 Positions, Granting You With 2 Types Of Grasping. It Will Allow You To Pick Up Small Objects Such As Your Wallet, A Book, Etc. Or Carrying Bigger Objects Or Even Taking With You Your Water Bottle Or Your Glass.
