Stock K40 Blower Fan 4" Filter Case Retrofit
Description
This design takes the worthless fan included in most K40 CO2 Laser bundles and adapts it for use with standard 4" dryer ducting. Simply swap the motor, capacitor, cord, and blower cage over and press/lock the pieces together. Included in this design is a filter tray that can be filled with your choice of filter media. I glued old dryer sheets to the inside of this tray and filled with activated charcoal to soak up any fumes. If you are not interested in the filter I also included a non-filtering press-fit cap. Hope this helps some other people get more use from this junk fan rather than tossing it in the trash!
