Piston Filler Pen Maintenance Wrench / Tool (TWSBI / Moonman)
Description
One of my moonman fountain pens came without the disassembly tool, so I made one. The TWSBI ECO and Diamond 580 come with a similar tool so I made the other side fit these. This way I don't need to get the tool out of the pens box. # Tested with - Moonman T1 (M Side) - TWSBI ECO (T side) - TWSBI Diamond 580 AL (T side) I put in the hole so you can attach a keychain or some other thingie so this thing doesnt get lost. # References **The T side** is modelled after the TWSBI original tool (the metal and plastic tools I measured had the same sizes but should only be used on the pens with the same material) **The M side** is modelled after measurements taken from the Moonman T1 I own. It might be necessary to press on the side of the tool when first unscrewing the back. They come screwed down very very tight from the factory. **Do not overtighten your pens :)** - and keep in mind that most piston filler fountain pen backs use **reversed threads**. Seen from the back finial, Unscrew the piston by turning the tool clockwise if that is the case. ## Reference Measurements: - T side: - Fork width: 7.2mm - Fork thickness: 1.4mm - M side: - Fork width: 7.5mm - Fork thickness: 1.4mm
