Quick Tool Change for Artillery Sidewinder X1 - VERSION 2.0

Quick Tool Change for Artillery Sidewinder X1 - VERSION 2.0

Description

VERSION 2.0 of my Quick Tool Change for the Sidewinder X1 - including optional Plug for the Hotend/Laser for changing without loosening the flatcabel. Warning: the Pinout at the LED-Foto is not correct, it shows only, how its meant to use... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I designed a quick tool change mount for the Artillery Sidewinder X1 inspired by ProperPrinting / Jón Schone. You'll find his Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oK3877cbBeM and his thing-files here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3369444 One of the reasons is, that i want to be able to mount a Lasermodul and it makes repairing/working on the Hotend much easier. Also I want to be able to try other Hotends more easily... I made two versions, one uses the Wheel-Screws for mounting, the other one (wich i use) needs three tapped m5 holes. Both are on top of the original Aluminiumplate, to keep the stiffness, but it would also be possible to make a version without... Also are both of them reversible, so you can go back to the original mount, if you want to. The extruder will be in the same place as in the original, so the only thing to change (without a real need) is the y-offset. I made mine of petg, but will print the final version witch carbon fiber. You will need: 1x m5 nut and a countersunk screw m5 15mm (for the Lever) 3x m3 nut for the Hotend 3x countersunk screws m5x8mm if you choose to drill and tap mounting holes. If you choose the Plug-extension you'll also need: 2x m5 nut 2x m5 8mm countersunk screws the "FPC-20P 1.0MM" Board - i got mine from Amazon/sourcing map a 90° sub-d 15 plug (at least 5A rated, 10A would be better) and of course the Plugs for the Heater/Fans etc some cabels, a soldering iron and a Multimeter to check the Pins
