Sunlu Dryer Top Mount Remix
Description
This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4633179. If you wish to donate, please donate to the person who did the original design at: https://paypal.me/JuanCMedina21?locale.x=en_US The remix includes wider screw holes since his where to small for my M4 30mm screws. I also made a rear mount to give the dryer more support. And a top mount that has a gap to let a wire passthrough. I use this for my filament runout sensor wire. ___________________________________________________ Update 8-31-20021 Two new files added Mount With Drill Block Left Mount With Drill Block Right Theses have a block attached to the mount. These can be used to mount a light to your printer. You will need to mark and drill your own hole to mount your light. To make sure you have enough to drill into and hold the light. I recommend printing at 60% infill. The light I use is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LT2JKRS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4690837 _________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ Update 8-26-20021 I made a new longer rear mount. _________________________________________________ Here is my tinker cad link. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/2QOrdPpgkRY-sunlu-dryer-top-mount-remix ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will need three M4-0.7 x 30mm Screws with M4 T-nuts, and Gorilla Double Sided Tape 1: Only the front mounts will use a little bit of two-sided tape. 2: Install the mount on the back side first with the two-sided tape on. (my back mount is the wire passthrough mount) 3: Next install the rear mount with no tape. 4: Place your dryer onto the mounts. 5: Install tape onto last mount before you mount it to the printer. 6: Install last mount and test to make sure it will not fall off when open. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Without the two-sided tape the dryer will fall backwards and off the printer, if the dryer is open and there is no filament roll in it, or you can try to use a heat gun to bend the tips in a little to hold the dryer tighter.
