Lightstrip Rail for Prusa MK3S+ (and probably others versions too)

Description

I got a Prusa MK3S+ a few weeks back and wanted to try out and make some 3D models my self to print and learn a bit about 3d modelling and connectors etc.. And since I had some LED strip laying around I went ahead and created a rail / holder that can be attached to the printer for great lightning for OctoPi. I think it works pretty good since the light goes down along the Z axis so there is more light where the camera is looking If you only wish to have an LED strip on the PSU you don't need to print the mounts for the top etc.. Same the other way around if you only wish to have an LED strip on the top. *See Post printing pictures for details * The LED Strip =========== The led Strip I used are 5050 LED's (RGBW) on a strip that is 12 mm wide. Since we all know that the adhesive on these things wont hold anything, I instead opted for a rail that that holds the LED strip without the need for adhesive. The parts ======= There are some different parts for this and you might use the ones you need. Basically it consists of a rail, cornered rail, some mounts and some clips/connectors. It all uses a connector which is clicked into the rails where needed, and is the hold in place once the LED strip is slided through the rail. lightstripholder_rail.stl ----------------------------- The basic rail which can be placed either / or on the PSU (using lightstripholder_mount_short and long to screw into the PSU holes) or horizontally in the top (using lightstripholder_mount_top). This can also be further extended with the lightstripholder_rail_corner.stl and then connect the horizontal top rail to the vertical psu rail using the corner rail. To connect the rails to each other lightstripholder_rail_connector.stl is to be used lightstripholder_mount_long.stl ----------------------------------------- This is used on the vertical PSU rail to fasten the rail to the PSU. This is to be used along the top of the PSU lightstripholder_mount_short.stl ------------------------------------------ This is used on the vertical PSU rail to fasten the rail to the PSU. This is to be used below the lightstripholder_mount_long.stl around the middle of the PSU lightstripholder_mount_top ----------------------------------- Two of these are used on the horizontal rail to hold it in place. (This piece has to be printed with supports) lightstripholder_wireclip.stl ----------------------------------- Used to hold the Lightstrips power cables so that they dont interfere with the bed when printing lightstripholder_clip.stl ------------------------------ Used to cover up holes on the rails if not in use. Known issues =========== * I was hoping I could have created this without the need for supports but lightstripholder_mount_top.stl needs to have support * The Rail on the PSU can collide with the extruder if its all the way out on the edge (the last few mm) * lightstripholder_mount_top.stl is not tight enough on my frame
