Stiching Yarn Holder with Labels

Stiching Yarn Holder with Labels

Description

Hi, I created this to help my girlfriend organize her stitching yarn for a very big project where she uses 149 different stitching yarn. It is a project that at least takes 1 year to finish. So every minute over the time period of year that can be saved (from not having to search for the right yarn number) will add up. I have made labels for nearly 350 yarn numbers from Anchor. Some time we want to make a shelf with all the yarns and yarn numbers displayed. You can also use blank ones and label them yourself. I used to print very fast so there are some parts that dont look so good but they work fine. I did print at 105mm/s print speed (Delta printer). If you want to make the double colour print with a single extruder like i did watch this video first to see how. This Video was not made by me and all credit goes to the creator. Cura Plugin: Z Offset Setting by fieldOfView. The print worked out for me without it but i realized that my prints always started at the height of the build plate. Even when i use the setting in cura that the files don't get dropped to the build plate, the print still started at zero. Thats why i used this plugin. You can also use it without labels or make your own. With the v2 of the end connectors i uploaded you will have more equal spacing inbetween the lables than i have. I hope someone out there will find this helpful. ;) If you make this please share it, if there are people out there that like stitching like my girlfriend. Also comments are very appreciated. If you want to know anything just let me know (I could make other labels for you too). The yarn labels are in order of the excel file i uploaded. The files are always named after the first number out of the six. In Cura the standart setting for the starting point of the print is "origin in the middle". So to get a good flow on your labels you just use the files from the Start folder and put them at your origin. This starting file will help you get a good flow for the lables you put around it. Good luck printing and have a nice day. ;)
