Nozzle for shower hose to clean the outlet (straight and bent)
Description
This publication is a hint on popular parts at my main page at Prusaprinters.org. You find all the needed .stl files there for your free download (no registration required): https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/65694 Description: This nozzles feature the usual ½ inch (ISO228) thread that fits on most shower hoses. They creates a very pointed and strong water jet that lets you power-wash the outlet of your shower or bath tube. The credit for the idea to print this part goes to a friend of mine, who has seen such a part as commercial product many years ago on a trade fair. Since I got good feedback within the first 24h after I published this, I have now added a second version with a 60deg bend. For me that version is even more useful than the straight one. Insert it into one of the holes of the outlet, then twist the hose to have it splash in all directions inside the outlet. Be careful not to break it off while it is inserted. Usage: Simply unscrew your shower head from the hose and screw on this nozzle. Do not screw it on too tight! It is completely sufficient to have it hand-tight. When the part gets wet, it becomes a bit slippery and it can in fact be tricky to unscrew it. That is why I have attached the fitting wrench. I do not recommend to use the wrench to tighten the nozzle, you might not be able to get it off afterwards. Point the nozzle right into the outlet and let the water flow. Be aware that you may get soaked, don't wear your best clothes ;-) Printing: Printing is fairly simple, no support or brim is needed. Both PETG and PLA have been tested successfully on different printers (Mk3S, Mini, Ender3Pro). Keep in mind that PLA is not very temperature resistant. If you intent to use hot water, rather go for PETG or some other, more heat tolerant material.
