MKS H43 Screen and Mount
Description
Although mounted on a JGMaker Artist D (standard), these parts can be adapted for any printer. My Artist-D came with an LCD which I hated as I was used to the touch screens on my Artillery printers. With the ability to choose my own screen I went for the MKS H43 as I liked the idea of being able to move the screen away from the printer. I've added magnets so it snaps in place. This mod required a fair amount of frame cutting! Hardware: M3x16 Bolts (button or socket) 4mmx4mm round magnets (or use a drill and use any size magnets you have) M3 Brass inserts To attach this to your printer board find the appropriate section here: https://github.com/makerbase-mks/MKS-H43/wiki/Use-MKS-H43-on-different-motherboards I used the wifi Tx and Rx pins on the Robin Pro V1 board as there are no serial pins on the LCD connectors. Most other boards should be more straightforward. The MKS github will help you setup the firmware so I won't cover it here. Lastly, I've started redesigning my own firmware, for it to be landscape, look nicer and to fully support ABL and dual IDEX. There is no time-frame for that but will hopefully get the parts than I use the most finished in a few weeks time.
