shutter lock mechanism
Description
I ve been attempting here to duplicate an existing mechanism to lock my shutters. The skp sketchup file is a summary of the simple mechanism. To ckeck before printing : the thickness of the curtains on which it's to be installed. Parts to buy along the printing : wooden screws and washers. To improve : maybe too much play between each parts. Important : improve strength. For printing i ve been increasing the layer resolution for each part with a 90° bent. (else it breaks too easily). For aesthetic, make provision for at least 3 layers (maybe 5 for the top one). For aesthetic and strength, increase the infill...with the day light, the infill shows like it's being x-rayed !! (>20%)
