A&A Gamma 4 Venturi Pop Up
Description
https://youtu.be/81K5qeeB-iM https://youtu.be/M3e6K_uvvFg My pool is starting to show it's age and the pop ups are starting to stick and not index properly, of course these popups are considered a wearable item. As my pool has 11 of these G4V's and 24 of the G4's I was shocked at the cost to replace them all. After looking at them, I thought I can design these to print on an FDM printer. These are designed to print without supports, however PopUp_G4V_003 has supports designed into the stl (there's no getting away from that) Although with side cutters and a needle nose you'll make short work of removing the supports. For fun I will throw in 003 without supports, but I don't think a slicer would do a better job Basically these are replacements, you'll have to re-use the spring and o-rings. I'm certain someone can source the springs and the o-ring is a common 2" o-ring (not sure the size of the o-ring in the G4S_001. There's 2 different pop ups, the first is the G4V which has the Venturi to maximize deep water circulation. The second I labeled as G4S which is for the Shallower parts of the pool and the steps. G4V_003 and G4V_004 are the same for both sets of pop ups. Final Note: It's imperative that you use G4V_004 with these prints. In order to minimize supports, I had to incorporate chamfers in certain places and if you use the original spring retainer, the center of the popup wont center and will bind up during operation. https://www.prusaprinters.org/social/124481-sisterlimonpot/prints
